Amolo Ng’weno
Board ChairAmolo Ng’weno is a co-founder and the Board Chair of GoSoft Integrated Solutions. Amolo is also the Chief Executive officer of BFA Global, an international development consulting firm. Amolo has led several successful companies including co-founding Africa Online; being COO of the Trust for African Rock Art and Managing Director of Digital Divide Data Kenya Ltd, as well as being a founding investor in the Zimele Asset Management Co Ltd, Kenya’s first mutual fund company. At BFA Global, she leads the organization in addressing new opportunities and challenges relating to digital financial services and the expansion of the digital economy, leading a team of 40 committed creative professionals around the globe.
Amolo is a board member of the GSMA Foundation which provides resources and support to GSMA Mobile for Development programmes which identify opportunities and deliver innovations with socio-economic impact in financial services, health, agriculture, digital identity, energy, water, sanitation, disaster resilience and gender equality. Amolo holds an MPA from Princeton University and a BA in Psychology and Social Relations from Harvard University USA. Amolo is on the advisory boards of the Livelihood Impact Fund and Stage Six. Inc.
Christine Olale Tantuo
Chief Executive OfficerChristine Tantuo is a co-founder and the Chief Executive Officer of GoSoft Integrated Solutions. She has close to 20 years’ experience in the ICT space with 9 years of these in the Telecommunication industry. Christine has strong business development and sales background having managed clients and large projects in multiple countries across East and West Africa. Christine’s drive and excellence comes from her ability to build meaningful business relationships for the organizations she has worked for and translating these relationships into profitable businesses.
Christine previously worked as Country Director for Techno Brain Kenya where she was responsible for the Kenyan operations that saw her grow the Kenyan business through strategic engagements with public and private sectors. Prior to Techno Brain, she was the East African Consultant for Sandvine, a Canadian firm focused on Network Analytics services for Telcos and ISPs.She also served as the Regional Sales Director for Alcatel-Lucent where she was mandated to deliver new businesses streams to Alcatel-Lucent. During her tenor at Alcatel-Lucent, she led the negotiations valued at 100MEur for a BOT telco build in East Africa. Christine also served for two years as Chief Sales & Distribution Officer of Uganda Telecom and as General Manager for Worldspace Ghana and Africa Online Ghana in her early days of her career.
Given her rich experience and expertise in leading high performing teams, Christine leverages her strengths in both sales and operations towards building a strong performance and team culture, a culture that impacts powerfully and positively on the customer experience as she aims to empower more businesses through being a trusted advisor for their strategic technology investments.
A holder of a BSc.in International Business Administration, Finance & Marketing from the United States International University – Nairobi, Kenya, Christine also holds an Executive MBA from Strathmore Business School and IESE Business School. Christine currently serves as an Advisory Board Member of the PLO Lumumba Foundation.
Mihayo Wilmore
Chief Technology OfficerMihayo Wilmore serves as the Chief Technology Officer of GoSoft Integrated Solutions. Mihayo has over 20 years’ experience in Product Development, Financial Technologies, Mobile Money, and Telecommunications. He has led multi-functional and multi-disciplinary teams in Africa, Europe, North and South America and has worked with leading brands such as Nation Media, Microsoft, Cisco, Alcatel, Celtel, Tigo, MTN, Zantel, Zain, Airtel and Unisys. He has applied his extensive skillset to a wide array of industries including digital financial services, telecommunication, rural economic development, print media, content creation, supply & value chain management, social security funds, regulatory & policy frameworks, Public Private Partnerships, and revenue generation.
Mihayo is a co-founder of several successful startups namely Twigalpha Tanzania, UmojaOne, the parent company of UhuruONe, Selcom Broadband (SBB), and Telesis Tanzania which owned the digital dividend spectrum popularly known as Tigo 4G operated by Millicom SA.
Mihayo has worked with Central & Local Governments, Ministerial Organs, USAID, World Bank, and DFID in partnership with Donor Fund managers such as DAI, TechnoServe, ACDI/VOCA, Creative Associates, Land o’Lakes, and Enterprise Works in Micro-Enterprise Development in Agriculture and Primary Education in Tanzania.
Mihayo served on the board of Dar Teknohama Business Incubator (DTBi) whose participants have been put on global platforms like ITU World Conference, GSMA and SeedSpace. Mihayo holds an MSIS from Pennsylvania State University, Pennsylvania, and a BA Computer Science and Psychology from The Lincoln University, Pennsylvania, USA.
